Alice Jean Mayer

Alice, lovingly known to many as Gigi, passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 69. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose personality and love left a lasting impression on the people who knew her.

Alice was the life of the party—outspoken, bold, stubborn, and never afraid to say exactly what she thought. She knew what she wanted right up until the very end. She stood up for the underdogs and fought for the people she loved. She made people feel seen and gave the best hugs. Anyone who crossed her path had a story to tell about her.

She loved to crochet, read her sci-fi books, and watch her soaps and being with family. Her store runs for JoJo’s and Pepsi that became cherished memories.

Alice remembered her family with cards for every occasion. Those cards, sent to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, remain treasured reminders of her love and thoughtfulness.

She leaves a legacy of strong women and generations of family who will continue to cherish and honor her.

Her granddaughter Micayla shared: “She was one of my favorite people. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye, but she was. I love you, Gigi. I will always, always miss you and cherish you. I’ll carry you in my heart forever.”
