Alexis Marie DeMarco

(November 24, 1993 – December 20, 2025), 32, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away surrounded by love. Born in Fort Polk, Louisiana, Alexis spent her early years moving frequently as part of a military family.

Alexis was the oldest of three children and carried that role with pride. From a young age, she was a fierce protector of her family, always watching over her younger brother and sister. She also shared a close bond with her parents, Richard and Diana DeMarco, and remained deeply connected to her family throughout her life.

Alexis was a mother whose love for her children was deep and unwavering. Though life presented challenges, her children always held a special place in her heart. She loved both of her children immensely and shared a particularly close bond with her son, Kelton. Being their mother was something she carried with pride and love, and they always remained at the center of her heart.

To know Alexis was to be loved so deeply. She was the most understanding and accepting friend you could ever be lucky enough to have — someone who embraced people exactly as they were, faults and all. Her love never wavered. A fiery soul with an even bigger personality, Alexis was very protective of her family and friends and never hesitated to stand up for those she loved. If you were on her good side, you were family forever.

Alexis spent much of her life helping others, often giving more of herself than she had to spare. She was the friend who showed up on your biggest days and your lowest moments — surprising those she loved just to remind them they were seen, remembered, and never alone. She always wanted people to know she was thinking about them, especially when they were struggling.

A natural helper and healer, Alexis had always dreamed of becoming a nurse. With her unmatched people skills and caring heart, she would have been amazing in that role. Though life did not give her the opportunity to fully pursue that path, her compassion and love were evident in everything she did.

Strongly independent and incredibly hardworking, Alexis gave her all in every job she held. She was fiercely loyal, had the biggest heart, and an even bigger personality — a presence that will never be forgotten.

Alexis leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and protection that will live on through her children, her parents, her siblings, and the many lives she touched. Her presence will be missed beyond what words can express.
