Zdenka Drahouse

Zdenka Drahouse, age 82, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Zdenka was born on August 11, 1929 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. In the 1950’s she moved with her family to the United States and lived in California. In Los Angeles she married Paul Drahouse. For many years she worked for Signal Oil & Gas Company in Southern California and then for the Variety Newspaper in Hollywood for about four years. In 2000 she moved to Grants Pass to be close to her family.

Zdenka was a member of St Anne Catholic Church.

She enjoyed bingo and gambling, especially at Seven Feathers.

Survivors include three daughters, Jana Kubrycht of Grants Pass, Oregon, Evelyn Marrero of Sylmar, California and Loretta Berube of Grants Pass, Oregon; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
