William "Tim" Donovan

William “Tim” Donovan of Grants Pass Oregon passed away on the morning of St Patrick’s Day March 17, 2019. Tim was born July 30, 1944 in Los Angeles, California to parents Thomas and Bess Donovan.

On September 30th 1972, Tim married Ann Schock, and they were happily married for over 46 years. Their son Toby Donovan was born in 1977.

Prior to moving to Grants Pass, Tim worked as a deep-sea Diver in Louisiana, and then as Lather in Los Angeles. In 1974, Tim relocated to Grants Pass and became a co-owner of Southern Oregon Real Estate until his retirement in 2013.

Tim loved living an active life playing softball, skiing, motorcycling, and especially gardening. A true college football fan, Tim was an avid supporter of Notre Dame.

Tim is survived by his wife Ann, his son Toby (Mary), sister Lili Darrow, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Bess Donovan and brothers Tom and Terry.

Tim made friends with anyone he could and won them over with his kindness and humor. We will all miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
