William Robert Johnson

William Robert “Bill” Johnson, age 70, of Grants Pass, died December 28, 2018 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.



Bill was born September 17, 1948 in Berkeley, California. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. For many years, he worked for U.S. Forest Industries plywood mill.



Bill was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Beacon Hill Ward where he was a greeter.



He was a great husband and wonderful father and was known to be friendly, outgoing, and loved by many.



Bill enjoyed golfing and playing guitar.



Survivors include his wife, Cindy Johnson of Grants Pass, Oregon; two daughters, Rebecca Morese of California and Jennifer Johnson of Oregon.



He was preceded in death by a son, Cory Doll.



A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Savage Street.
