Vivian W. Webber

Vivian Wyomia Fotta was born April 11th, 1936, to Stephen and Marie Fotta in Jasper Oregon. She attended school and graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1954. On April 10th of that same year, she was married to Walter “Wayne” Webber at the Christian Church in Jasper.

For the next couple of years, they lived in San Diego, CA where Wayne finished out his 4-year hitch in the navy. During that time, their son Dennis was born on May 1st of 1955.Upon discharge they moved to Portland Oregon were Vivian set up house and Wayne started a career with IBM. Their daughter Brenda was born on March 2, 1964. The family moved to Gresham, a suburb of Portland, in 1965 where they lived until after Wayne’s retirement in 1991. They moved to Glen Eden Beach on the Oregon coast in 1994.

Vivian loved the coast, the beach, even the wind and the rain. During those retirement years they traveled to Hawaii, Europe, and to Australia - Vivian’s favorite trip of all.

They moved to Grants Pass in 2003 and enjoyed being pastored by their son (Dennis), working with Royal Family Kids (foster kids) and having a small group in their home.

Her faith, lived out in a community of fellow believers, was a significant part of her life wherever she lived.

Vivian loved being a home maker, tending flowers, and baking amazing cookies, but what she loved most was spending time with family - and her family loved spending time with her.

Vivian passed away February 22nd, 2023 at the age of 86.

She is survived by her husband Wayne, her children Dennis and Brenda, 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Hull and Hull Funeral Home on March 5th at 1pm.
