Virginia M. Boyle, age 92, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with Carl Wilson conducting. Private interment was held at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

Virginia was born September 20, 1920 in Johnson County, Iowa, one of ten children of Walter & Marie (Driscoll) Buck. For many years she worked at Menasco Manufacturing in Burbank, California. On March 20, 1971 she married Frank Boyle and they had 33 wonderful years together. They lived in Torrance, California and Santa Paula, California until moving to Grants Pass, Oregon in 1991.

Virginia was longtime member of River Valley Community Church.

She was known for her sense of humor and wonderful, generous nature. Her hobbies included golf, knitting, reading and especially loved being with family and friends.

Survivors include three sisters, Doris Roney of Grants Pass, Oregon, Gerene Cohrs of Bakersfield, California and Lois Banks of Grants Pass, Oregon; and two brothers, Homer Buck of Mesa, Arizona and Gary Buck of Anthem, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Sorel; husband, Frank Boyle; parents, Walter & Marie Buck; sisters, Phyllis Weber and Alice Parker; and brothers, Walter Buck and Kenneth Buck.
