Virgie "Gee Gee" Mclennan

Virgie “Gee Gee” McLennan, age 87, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

A viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2009 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Dick Boden officiating. Private interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She was born October 27, 1921 in Glendale to Hurley & Florence Winkelman and graduated from Glendale High School in 1940. In 1941 she married Albert Oscar Wick. In 1943 they moved to Wolf Creek and later to Grants Pass. Albert died in 1951. In 1952 she married Malcolm Leroy McLennan who died in 1980. She loved her family and homemaking.

Her hobbies included reading, making hook rugs and working puzzles. She also loved watching baseball on T.V.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Marah of Grants Pass; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
