Susan Borck Crispino

November 22, 1944 — February 18, 2013

Susan Borck Crispino, age 68, of Glendale, died Monday, February 18, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Special People's Depot on Old Town Road in Glendale, Oregon. A potluck will follow. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Susan was born on November 22, 1944 in Weeksville, North Carolina to Robert & Rosemary Borck. She grew up in Marblehead, Massachusetts and graduated from Marblehead High School in 1962. She attended Endicott College in Virginia. In 1975 she married Richard Roepke and in 1979 they moved to Southern California where she worked as an office manager. Richard died in 1982. In 1985 she married Peter Crispino and moved to Williams, Oregon in 1986 where she worked at Forest Farm. She was a bartender at the Pinecone Tavern in Murphy for 18 years. In 2005 she retired and purchased a home in Glendale, Oregon.

Susan served on the board for Non-profit Pacific Community Resource Center and was a member of the local Garden Club and the Senior Center.

She volunteered for PCRC ?(Pacific Community Resource Center) where she worked in the office. She also managed PCRC Thrift Store. She also volunteered for the Toby Fund.

Her hobbies included coaching swimming and being a lifeguard at the YMCA. In her earlier years she was an avid skier. She enjoyed reading and loved her plants and pets. She was a Parrothead and went to numerous Jimmy Buffett shows and enjoyed listening to his music. Susan loved watching NCIS show on TV.

Survivors include her spouse and best friend, Peter Crispino of Glendale, Oregon; her mother, Rosemary Borck of Chattanooga, Tennessee; a sister, Lindsay Barukh of Chattanooga, Tennessee and two step-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her father, Robert Borck.
