Shirley Keto

Shirley Keto, age 74, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Hull & Hull Chapel with private interment at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.

Shirley was born on May 4, 1936 in Mineral Wells, Texas. She was known as a happy person and always had a smile on her face. She was happy to see any one of her children whenever they would get together. She got great joy out of her two dogs, “Buddy and Shelby” and recently took on a new hobby of a salt water fish aquarium which gave her much pleasure. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she loved giving to others. Her home looked like something from a picture with all of her Christmas dcor. She enjoyed watching a good, clean comedy in the evenings. Shirley and her husband John had been married for 48 years. In 1990 they moved from Yucaipa, California to Grants Pass. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and person. She will forever be missed.

She loved dogs. Her hobbies included reading, shopping, working with stained glass and porcelain dolls. She especially enjoyed her salt water fish aquarium.

Survivors include her spouse, John Keto of Grants Pass; three daughters, Brenda Podskalan, Lori Roberts and Jamie Dickason and a son, Rod Keto; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
