Shawn Munro

It is in great sadness today that we must say goodbye, for now, to Shawn David Thomas Munro.

Shawn was born August 20, 1991. It was on April 10, 2022 he went to be with our Heavenly Father, his Uncle Wesley Coose, and the love of his life and mother of his children, Candace Burgess.

Shawn lived a fulfilled life in Medford, Oregon as a wonderful loving father to Ellie Mae Munro and Shawn Wesley David Munro. Shawn was an amazing man and an even better father! He loved being a Dad, boating, snowboarding, fishing and music. He especially loved to do all these things with his children, his sister Heather Reyes, brother Michael Reyes and niece London Reyes.

He will be missed greatly by his mother Wendi Munro, father Ross Munro, grandparents David and Karen Peters, as well as his brother, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him very much!

Shawn was a light this world needed; he filled any room with his amazing love and personality. He will be missed intensely by many!

A limb has fallen from the family tree
I keep hearing a voice that says, Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine thru
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes, we’re together again.
