Shawn Miguel Elmer

Shawn Miguel Elmer, age 50, of Selma, died September 13, 2021 at his home.

Shawn was born February 4, 1971 in Reno, Nevada. He moved with his family from Carson, Nevada to the Illinois Valley in 1977.

Shawn was a member of ECV. He especially loved his dog Sam.

Survivors include three children Devan Elmer of Illinois Valley, Oregon, Curtis Elmer of Wrangell Alaska and Hannah Elmer of Illinois Valley, Oregon; brothers Raymond Elmer of East Lyme, Connecticut and Casey Elmer of Reno, Nevada; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his dad Alvin C. Elmer; mom Marna J. Smith; and sister Patricia J. Elmer-Wolf.

A celebration of life will begin at 10:30 a.m. with military honors at 12 Noon, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Lake Selmac in Selma.
