Ryan Phillip Borth

Ryan Phillip Borth, age 34, passed away March 21, 2019 in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Ryan was born November 24, 1984 in Takilma, Oregon. He had an incredibly infectious smile as a child while growing up in the Illinois Valley, spending summer days swimming at the local pool and rivers. He enjoyed skateboarding at the neighborhood park, and even built ramps at home with his brother and neighbor. As a teenager, he spent a few years living in Mexico with his father, where he became proficient in Spanish, and had his lovely daughter, who now has a son of her own. Ryan’s adult years saw him as a conscientious and diligent worker, often helping his mother and family friends with home improvement projects.

Ryan enjoyed skateboarding when he was younger, woodworking, home improvements, and hiking.

Though he could not find peace here, we will always remember Ryan as a sensitive, kindhearted and caring young man. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include daughter Elizabeth Alejandra Brito Borth; mother, Sandra Borth; father Brian Borth; sisters Michelle Borth, Desirea Gahm, and Francine Bush; brothers Darin Borth, Andrew Borth and Ruben Borth; and grandson Nathan Ortiz Borth.

He was preceded in death by a sister Patricia (née Borth) Hoffman in 2006.

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Wild River Pizza (Pizza Deli) in Cave Junction. Followed by lunch at the same location. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
