Rudolph "Rudy" Binger

December 29, 1938 — June 15, 2012

Rudolph (Rudy) Binger, 73, of Grants Pass, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at Royale Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 3 to 4 pm at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors. A private family service will be held later. Private interment will be at Granite Hill Cemetery.

He was born on December 29, 1938 to Rudolph Binger and Grace (Lockett) Binger in Neligh, Nebraska. When he was three years old the family moved to southern California. He married Peggy Baker on July 27, 1958 in Mira Loma, California. They had 3 sons—Kenneth, Richard, and Daniel. Rudy moved his family to southern Oregon in 1970 where he lived in Cave Junction and Grants Pass. He drove commercial trucks for 50+ years. He especially loved log truck driving.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Binger of Grants Pass, his son Kenneth Binger and his wife Teresa Binger of Grants Pass, his daughter-in-law Sharon (Lee) Waln of Troy, North Carolina, his son Daniel Binger and his wife Rhenda Binger of Grants Pass, his granddaughter Tiffany Havens and her husband Chris Havens of Grants Pass, his granddaughter Lidia Binger of Troy, North Carolina, his granddaughter Sheree Mathews and her husband Christian (Tyler) Mathews of Grants Pass, his granddaughter Reanna Faszer and her husband David Faszer of Grants Pass, his granddaughter Crystle Binger of Brookings, his sister Yvonne Chaffee of Juneau, Alaska, his sister Sandra Chaffee and her husband Floyd Chaffee of Cave Junction, his sister-in-law Essie Binger of Hemet, California and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Rudolph Binger, his mother Grace Binger, his brother Robert Binger, his brother-in-law Lee Chaffee, his son Richard Binger, his granddaughter Brandi Binger, his grandson Shane Binger and his grandson Derrick Binger.
