Ronald E Lynes

Ronald E. Lynes, age 99, of Grants Pass, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the family home. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Ron was born March 27, 1913 in Driftwood, Oklahoma. On December 22, 1935 in Corning, California he married his wife Vivian. During their 73-year marriage they lived in the Bay Area where Ron was an auto mechanic and motorcycle enthusiast. They later moved to Millville, California in 1959 and operated a ranch there for 17 years. Upon retirement, Ronald and Vivian relocated in 1976 from Millville to Grants Pass where they spent their years fishing the lakes, traveling the country, camping, and enjoying their friends and family. Ron’s life was well lived and will long be remembered.

Survivors include a daughter, Ronnea Lynes of Grants Pass; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded by his wife, Vivian; a daughter, Kay and a son, Jerry.
