Ronald Carl "Ron" Nunn

Ronald Carl “Ron” Nunn, age 75, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

Ron was born on May 9, 1942, in Vallejo, California, the oldest son of Carl and Sally Nunn. He was a graduate of San Ramon Valley Union High School class of 1961.

In 1964, he married Marcia Hauskens. They had two children.

Ron and his father purchased Redwood Meat and moved his family from Lafayette, California to Grants Pass in 1968. Later, Ron started R.C. Nunn Investments and began property development. Ron built apartments, duplexes, shopping centers, and storage units in southern Oregon.

He enjoyed spending time at the coast with his family. While he was there he enjoyed boating and crabbing.

Ron is survived by his wife, Marcia K. Hauskens of Grants Pass; daughters, Nancy Higgins and Heidi Hall, both of Grants Pass; brother, Dennis Nunn; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Carl Nunn and Sally Nunn.

A service is planned for Thursday, October 5, 2017, at 2 p.m., in the Parish Hall at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 1131 NE 10th Street, Grants Pass. Father Mike will officiate.

A reception will be held at the Evergreen Room at Taprock from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
