Robert D. Selover

Robert D. Selover, age 73, of Grants Pass, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at his home.

A graveside service with military honors was held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2009 at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Bob was born October 30, 1936 in Long Beach, California. He was a patriot who served his country honorably with his United States Naval career spanning over 22 years through the Cuban Missile Crisis and other duty stations in Japan, Alaska, and Hawaii. In July 2009 he moved from Lake County, California to Grants Pass.

Bob was a semi-pro fast-pitch softball pitcher and was a San Francisco Giants fan as well.

He especially loved being a father and considered himself a patriot for his country.

Survivors include two daughters, Lori Selover Zaviski of Monroe, Washington and Sheri Lynn Wytcherley of Grants Pass.
