Robert Charles Steel

Robert Charles Steel, age 51, of Sunny Valley, Oregon, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019.

Robert was born in Garden Grove, California, on March 25, 1967. He spent most of his life around Wolf Creek and Sunny Valley, Oregon. Robert loved the woods and spending time with his faithful canine, Rusty.

He was known for his loving heart and creative ways making log benches, personalized walking sticks for loved ones, and wooden buildings to create Hot Wheels towns for his many nephews and nieces. To quote one niece, “He was the fun uncle.”

Loving son, brother, uncle and nephew, he is survived by his father, Bob Steel; his mother, Donna Connelly; four brothers – Bruce, Jacob, Joshua and Jedidiah; two sisters – Mahrya and Josephine; three sisters-in- law – Vetta, Nikki, and Amanda; fifteen nephews and nieces; along with a Gramma; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Oregon, California, Colorado and Arizona.

He was well-loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the Sunny Valley Town Hall.
