Robert "Bob" Slavensky

In loving Memory of Robert “Bob” Slavensky. Who died on September 1, 2010 in O’Brien, Oregon. Bob died at the age of 70 after battling cancer for two years. Bob was born Sept. 23, 1939 in Price, Utah, but spent his youth living in Helper, Utah were he met and married his loving wife of 51 years Marie Murray. In 1959 they moved to Sacramento, California when Bob applied and was accepted as an apprentice at local 447 pipefitters trade school. Bob worked in the trade for over 35 years before retiring in 1998 at the age of 58. After retiring, Bob and his wife Marie traveled the western states for two years, and then moved to O’Brien, Oregon and established a new life.

Bob enjoyed customizing his trucks, watching NASCAR, traveling, model trains, and home improvement projects and visiting with friends. He also loved spending time with his children, and grandchildren. Bob leaves behind his wife Marie, daughter Tina, and sons Rick, Steve (Ellen), and Christopher. Also left behind, are grand children, Erik, Tifiny Meghan, Steven, Trinity, Kayla, Josie, Parker, and Piper, who will miss their grandpa very much. His two older brothers, Bill Pace and Frank Slavensky and his mother and father, Frank and Carma Slavensky, preceded Bob in death.
