Bob was born December 7, 1925 in Olathe, Colorado to Floyd & Gertrude Glass. He was raised in Adrian, Oregon. Bob served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II, earning two purple hearts. In the 1960’s and 1970’s he worked for the city of Garden Grove, California; was a Building Inspector for Westminster, California; and was Director of Building and Safety in LaPalma, California. On January 3, 1969 he married Karen Weicher and they moved to Grants Pass in 1975.

Bob was a homebuilder, having his own construction company, B&B Construction, specializing in log homes and home remodels.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, camping, and especially yard sales. A favorite activity was purchasing an old bicycle, fixing it up, and then giving it to a youth. And Bob always like a good joke!

He was preceded in death by daughter, Osage Otter and granddaughter, Silo.
