Richard J. Biery

Richard J. Biery, age 70, of Grants Pass, died Monday, September 8, 2008 at his home.

A visitation will be at time of service, Saturday, September 27, 2008.

A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Russ Millsaps officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Richard was born February 28, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to Ira & Maude Biery. After graduating from high school he attended the University of Toledo where he graduated in 1961 with an engineering degree. He served in the Air National Guard. On March 28, 1959 in Toledo he married Barbara Hall. For 39 years he was a civil engineer. In 1998 he moved from Fresno, California to Grants Pass.

He enjoyed reading, fishing, and traveling.

In addition to his wife, Barbara Biery of Grants Pass; he is survived by two daughters, Cherie Beitz of Grass Valley, California and Shannon White of West Jordan, Utah; a son, Todd Biery of Smartville, California; a brother, Don Biery of Toledo, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
