Ralph Elmer Milton

February 24, 1934 — December 30, 2017

Ralph Elmer Milton of Rogue River, age 83, passed away at home on December 30, 2017, after a long illness. He was surrounded by those who loved him.

Ralph was born on February 24, 1934 in Rogue River, OR to the late H. Elmer and Grace Milton. He resided in Rogue River his entire life and could not have imagined living anywhere else.

Ralph graduated from Rogue River High School where he was a member of the state champions basketball team. In 1954 Ralph married Elrita 'Torchy' Wohgen and they had two children, Wendy and Ron. He served in the Army and spent two years stationed in France. Ralph was the owner of R. Milton Logging, Inc., a logging and road building company, until his retirement.

He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and trips to his cabin. He adored his three grandson's and had a large circle of amazing friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Torchy and his son Ron, his two sisters Lois Cummings and June Elder, as well as both his parents. He is survived by his daughter Wendy Milton Kuhn and her husband Dr. Fred Kuhn of Roswell, GA, his brother Bill Milton of Rogue River, daughter-in-law Janet Grant Milton of Roseburg, and his three grandson's Cody Milton, Tyler Milton and Brandon Kuhn. He has many wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be a service on Saturday, January 13th at 2:00 pm at the Evans Valley Bible Church, 7924 E. Evans Ck. Rd., with Pastor Scott Purrier officiating. All are welcome.

We would like to especially thank Russ Boat, Donna Earnest and Norm Stainbrook for all their help, love and devotion to Ralph during his illness. Words cannot thank you enough.
