Permelia Brydon Wood

Permelia Brydon Wood, age 74, of Cave Junction, died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2009 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2400 Laurel Road, Cave Junction, Oregon. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Permelia was born March 1, 1935 in Los Angeles, California. In 1943 she moved from Los Angeles County in Southern California to Selma where she attended Kerby School. On November 22, 1956 in Reno, Nevada she married Dwayne Clay Wood.

She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Cave Junction Congregation, since 1961.

Her hobbies included crocheting, crafts and going to the flea market with her husband. As a family they enjoyed recreational motorcycling, especially at Lemolo Reservoir near Diamond Lake.

Survivors include her husband, Dwayne Clay Wood of Cave Junction; two sons, Mickeal R. Wood of Salem and Steven T. Wood of Big Lake, Alaska; one sister; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
