Patricia Kay Brown

Patricia Kay Brown, age 73, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at her home.

A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Patricia was born December 16, 1937 in Weiser, Idaho. In 1950 she moved with her family to Grants Pass and graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1955. In 1956 in Grants Pass she married Patrick W. Brown. She worked in retail for many years including at J.C. Penney, Montgomery Ward, and Payless Drug for 16 years. She also owned Sunshine Laundry, Four Seasons Car Wash & South Y Car Wash retiring in 2007.

Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, camping, fishing, photography, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Patrick W. Brown of Grants Pass, Oregon; she is survived by three children, Sandra K. Farmer of Grants Pass, Oregon, Terri Lynn Bayan of Concord, Ohio, and Michael Patrick Brown of Grants Pass, Oregon; and four granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Vernon Cape & Edith Leota (Over) Cape.
