Patricia A. Lyman

July 20, 1933 — January 26, 2012

Patricia A. Lyman, 78, of Rogue River passed away Thursday, January 26th, 2012 of natural causes.

Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Hull & Hull Funeral Directors in Grants Pass.

She is survived by sons Michael and John Logan and daughter Rhonda Marquis; 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pat was born in San Diego, CA in 1933 and was raised by her mother in Vancouver, WA. She married Rodney Kent Logan in 1951 and soon after moved to Anchorage, AK where they lived and raised their family.

Her second love was her collies, which she raised throughout the rest of her life. She was supported in this by her second husband, Frank Lyman. Pat and Frank moved from Alaska to Rogue River in 1976. Frank passed away in 1993.

Pat was a significant influence in the development of the Standard Collie and provided many people with loving family members and champion show dogs.

She enjoyed watching mystery dramas and Seattle Mariners baseball. She was an avid reader of mystery novels. She kept her mind sharp with puzzles of all types, her favorite being the daily crossword.

She will be missed by many who shared her love for life.
