Otis Jones

Otis Jones was born on December 2, 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the union of the late Archie and Julia Lawrence Jones. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 1, 2012. He was one of eight children. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Lawrence Jones of New Orleans.

Otis attended Orleans Parish Public schools. He was a short-term resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. He travelled from state to state and found Cave Junction, OR, where this became his home.

Otis was married to the late Kitty Crow of Cave Junction. He leaves to cherish his memories: one brother, Peter Jones of New Orleans, four sisters; Thelma Jones and Delores Julian of New Orleans, Emelda Jones of Houston, TX and Lena Mae Jones of Dallas, TX. One brother-in-law; Larry Julian of New Orleans. One aunt; Emily Marshall; Two uncles; Henry Lawrence, Sr., and Rev. Emmanuel Lawrence of New Orleans and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
