Nila Sue Groves

Nila Sue Groves, age 48, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Nila was born January 20, 1962 in Medford, Oregon and moved to Grants Pass when she was three months old. She attended Allendale Elementary School, South Junior High, and graduated with the class of ’80 from Grants Pass High School. She lived in Portland and then attended Southern Oregon University for two years and Rogue Community College for two years. She worked as a waitress and currently was medically retired.

Nila volunteered at Rogue Valley Humane Society helping with everything.

She loved animals and fed three cat colonies every day. She adopted many cats into her home.

Survivors include her mother Karen Groves of Grants Pass; an aunt, Jodi Williamson; and two nieces, Alexis Williamson and Rachelle Stevens all of Oregon.
