Neva Willene Graves

Neva Willene Graves, age 92, of Selma, died March 20, 2019 at her home.

Neva was born March 12, 1927 in Needles, California to Jesse James & Genave Taylor. In 1972 she moved from Paradise, California to Southern Oregon and in 1976 moved to Selma. She was an artist and especially enjoyed oil painting for which she won many ribbons at the fair.

Neva loved plants, fruit trees, and gardening especially healing herbals and making homeopathic healing remedies. She loved her library, loved God and country. She was an old-school hard worker and repaired everything including her roof at the age of 72.

Neva was a member of the Art Club in Illinois Valley.

Survivors include her children Dan Holt of Columbus, Ohio, Anna Reed of Grants Pass, Joy Waters of Grants Pass, Ray Holt of Selma, Grace Fowler of Cottage Grove; sister Suzy Andrews of Burbank, California; brother Loren Taylor of Needles, California; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son James.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
