Nancy Christine (Lee) Murdock

August 19, 1944 — April 19, 2014

Nancy Christine (Lee) Murdock, 69, died peacefully on April 19, 2014 at her home in Merlin, after a long, courageous fight against breast cancer.

She was born on August 19, 1944 in Santa Monica, California to Jim and Mary (Karem) Lee. She moved to San Bruno, California after being graduated from The University of California, Northridge. In 1987 she married the love of her life, Maloy, in Half Moon Bay. They completed each other. Maloy was her teacher, guide and rock.

She was blessed by many loving friends, an elite group of chosen sisters, and the best kids in the world. She loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure. Her daughter Christy and husband Jim Rossi with grandchildren Christian, Anthony, Andreas, Jonathan, Grace and Jordan and son Garrett and his son Jake were all the light of her life.

She felt very blessed to be surrounded and uplifted by all their love and the love of her brother Jim (and Sista Carol) of Bend, Oregon and her sister Margaret (and Bruce Bell) of Granada Hills, California as well as nieces Tammy and Carrie.

She was an amazing gardener, paper artist, and photographer. She loved Bluegrass and real Country music. She gave us all an example of a life well lived, and we loved her in return.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

No services are planned, however a celebration of life may be planned for a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She extends a special thank you to the nurses and physicians who worked so hard to keep her alive and comfortable, especially Dan Selinger, Bruce Murray, Sue Kohler and her staff at Hematology Oncology Associates, Jere Sandefur and his staff at Radiation Oncology, the loving staff at Asante Infusion Services, and Spears Cancer Center, Shari Woodward (her Lymphedema specialist), and Amanda Morgan and the many dedicated nurses and physicians at Three Rivers Medical Center ICU who literally saved her life last September. And finally a big thanks to Asante Hospice, Barb Bachman and her crew, who did so much to ease this transition. Please send memorial contributions to Asante Hospice, Medford, Oregon.
