Michael Mcnickle

Michael McNickle, age 83, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Highland House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 31, 2008 at St Anne Catholic Church with Monsignor Gregory Moyes officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements

Michael was born March 2, 1925 in County Derry, Ireland. He married Isabel. During World War II he served in the British Merchant Navy. He worked for American Airlines until his retirement. He moved from California to Grants Pass in 1994.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus and Saint Anne Catholic Church.

His hobbies include gardening and fishing.

Survivors include a sister, Annie Tracey of Ireland and many nieces and nephews, also of Ireland.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Isabel in 2003 and infant daughter, Ann.
