Michael Anthony Bale Sr.

Michael Anthony Bale Sr., age 74, of Grants Pass, died May 24, 2022 at his home.

Michael started his life in Redlands, California, November 15, 1947. He lived near his Grandma Bale with his mother and father and was the joy of their life. In 1950 a brother was born but sadly he went home all too early. In 1951 Michael had a sister who lived five hours before going home. In 1952 Michael had a new sister, in 1956 another sister and in 1959 another brother. He lived on a small neighborhood street with his family until he was 8 years old. The family then moved to a house that would become home for the next 38 years. During those years Michael played baseball with his heart and soul, and became an interest to the baseball scouts. He loved the local skating rink and as he entered his teenage years, cars became his world. Life went on and at the age of 21 Michael was blessed with his first child –a beautiful baby girl-Angela. Continuing his blessings Michael became a dad to his son Eric. In 1981 his son and namesake Michael Anthony was born and in 1983 his son Thomas, with the most beautiful smile ever, was born.

By profession Michael was a painter and a caregiver. As the years went by and Thomas came into his teenage years, he helped his dad and they had a father and son business. Michael’s health impacted his work but with all his sons help and support they made it through the difficult times together.
In 1991 Michael’s first grandchild, Steven, was born. In 2011 his granddaughter, Emily, was born. In 2012 his grandson, Anthony, was born and in 2014 grandson Christian was born. He had the honor of living with Anthony and Christian since the day they came home from the hospital. He loved and cherished his grandkids so much. Their smiles brought him so much joy and kept him going.

Michael helped everyone he could. His door was always open. He enjoyed his car collection and working in the yard. His family was his love and passion. He gave us joy, laughter and love. Blessing memories forever. You will forever be missed! You will be in our hearts always! Till we meet again!

Survivors include a daughter, Angela; three sons Eric, Michael Jr and Thomas; two daughters-in-law, Brandi and Sabrina; three grandsons, Steven, Anthony and Christian; a granddaughter Emily; a brother Jim; a sister Patricia; a sister-in-law, Tricia; mother of grandsons, Maryann; three nephews, Josh, Matthew and Donavan and six nieces, Brie, Kylyn, Amanda, Shawnelle, Ella and Aurora.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, brother, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandmother and grandfather.
