Mary Warner

Mary E. McCormick Warner, age 75, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Providence Medford Medical Center.

A memorial mass will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at St. Anne Catholic Church. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Mary was born October 7, 1934 in Albany, Oregon to Lawrence & Ruth McCormick. She moved with her family to Medford and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1953. After attending the University of Oregon, she married Dean Pratt and they had two children before later divorcing. She was briefly married to Robert Warner before divorcing. She lived in Santa Clarita, California for several years before moving to Grants Pass in June 2000. She was an accountant for many years until her retirement in 1998.

Mary attended St. Anne Catholic Church.

Her hobbies included traveling, fishing, reading, hosting parties, and the cultural arts. She also enjoyed a YMCA swim class and was an avid University of Oregon Football fan.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Pratt of Billings, Montana and Leslie Heater of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Margaret McCormick of Gig Harbor, Washington; three brothers, David McCormick of Ringwood, Oklahoma; John McCormick of Rockville, Maryland, and Matt McCormick of Washington D.C.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis Pratt.
