Mary Lou Toman

Mary Lou Toman, age 75, of Grants Pass, passed away Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011 at her home in Grants Pass.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Hull & Hull Chapel.

Mary Lou was born in Brawley, California to Antonio & Frances Silva. She attended Calipatria High School and graduated in 1955. She then moved to San Jose, California in 1959 with her mother, Frances and sister, Margaret. She attended Evergreen Community College in San Jose. Mary Lou retired from Santa Clara County Department of Corrections after 26 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Jamie Montenegro of San Jose, California; two sons, Jay Toman and Joel Toman both of Grants Pass, Oregon; a daughter, Jeri Anne Ibarra of Reno, Nevada; a brother, Antonio Silva of San Jose, California; a sister, Margaret Leon of San Jose, California; 10 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 27 nieces & nephews.

A brother, David and her parents died before her.
