Mary "Dodie" Collins

Mary “Dodie” Collins, age 65, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at her home.

A viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2010 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2010 at Hull & Hull Chapel.

She was born September 16, 1945 in Reno, Nevada to John & Mary Watson. She graduated from Oregon Health & Science University with a nursing degree. She worked as a registered nurse at Rogue Valley Medical Center for ten years and specialized in post surgery. She lived in Ventura, California for many years before moving to Grants Pass in 1998. On October 31, 2000 in Reno she married Leslie Collins.

She was a gourmet cook and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Leslie Collins of Grants Pass; a daughter, Tammi Phillips of Colorado; a son, Steve Hoeger of California; and two granddaughters, Honnie and Lacy Phillips of Colorado.
