Marguerite C. Graham

Marguerite Coral “Maggie” Graham passed away peacefully at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the age of 91.

Maggie is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, David Cardis Graham, two brothers David and Jack Coleman, and parents Norman and Kathleen Coleman.

Maggie was born in Bend, Oregon on March 22, 1929 and graduated Bend High School in June 1947. She married David Graham on June 9, 1947 and they moved to Grants Pass in 1962 after many years in Bend. Maggie worked for Gates Furniture, and then as assistant to the Superintendent of District 7 Schools until her retirement. She loved to collect and arrange weeds for craft shows, being known as Maggie’s Weed Patch. She also enjoyed hand quilting, knitting, and sewing and most recently making homemade greeting cards for her family and friends.

During retirement, Maggie and David loved traveling to places such as Europe, North Africa, China and Russia. They attended River Valley Church and most recently Edgewater Christian Fellowship. Maggie lovingly remembered by her four children Bruce Graham (wife Christy), Rodney Graham (wife Jayna), Becky Moffett (husband Jim) and Cathy Pollard; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private family celebration of life is being planned.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Edgewater Christian Fellowship.
