Margaret Strojan

Margaret Strojan, age 82, of Medford, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at her home.

No services are planned. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Margaret was born May 30, 1930 in Grandview, Washington. She grew up and attended school in Grandview. After she married Frank Strojan in 1950 in Reno, Nevada, she moved to Oakland, California where she lived for 30 years. She worked in an Orowheat bread factor for 20 years. After the death of her husband 15 years ago, she moved to Medford.

Margaret was a member of the Catholic Church her entire life.

Her hobbies included horseracing, bowling, and reading.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeannie Thompson of New York, New York and Frances Teixeria of Santa Cruz, California; a son, Fred Strojan of Alameda, California; two sisters, Jeanette Roberts and Patricia Roberts both of Lake Oswego, Oregon; a brother, Joe Roberts of Pasco, Washington; and two granddaughters.
