Margaret G. Miller

March 14, 1932 — November 20, 2014

Margaret G. Miller, age 82, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Spring Pointe.

Private family services will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Margaret was born in Carrizozo, New Mexico and raised in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She moved from Sun Valley, California to Grants Pass, Oregon in 1986. On July 17, 1993 she married Kermit Miller in Las Vegas, Nevada. She retired as a grocery store clerk.

Margaret loved her daughters and enjoyed visiting with them and her grandchildren. Margaret was able to meet her first and only great-great-grandchild before she passed.

Mumsie was a very caring and loving person and was happy to extend a helping hand. She wrote several poems which everyone enjoyed. Her favorite was “Mother Deserves A Rose”

Mumsie loved playing scrabble and crocheting. She enjoyed reading and made sure she had time to watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Survivors include a daughter, Margarita “Margie” Torbron of Bremerton, Washington; two son-in-laws, Jack Torbron of Bremerton, Washington and Deloy Crume of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sisters, Gregoria Flores and Jane Villa, both of Alamogordo, New Mexico; a brother, Ray Scott of Alaska; and 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death was her husband Kermit Miller, two daughters, Magdalena Carabajal and Martha Crume.
