Mae Sidley

Mamie Irene “Mae” Hoffman Sidley, age 83, former Milton-Freewater and La Grande resident, passed away in Gilory, California at her son’s residence.

Mae was born July 12, 1936 in La Grande, Oregon to Dorothy & Charles Hoffman. Mae attended schools in La Grande, Union, and Cove. She then attended nursing school in California. In November 1991 she married George Sidley in Poulsbo, Washington.

Mae is survived by her husband George Sidley of Wolf Creek Oregon; three sons Kevin and Randy both of Gilroy California, Bob of Wenatchee Washington; and daughter Tammy of Tacoma Washington; grandchildren Julia, Jason, Ashley, Christina, Rhiannon, Britni and Emily; great-grandchildren Payton, Colton, Karis and Rosellen Mae; brothers Eugene, Mel, Edward and Larry; and sisters Marjorie and Marian.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Henry and Arthur.

A memorial service will be at 12 Noon, November 17, 2019 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors in Grants Pass. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
