Madelyn Mae Williams

Madelyn Mae Williams, age 83, passed away October 23, 2021 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center from pneumonia.

Madelyn was born December 30, 1937 in Ashland, Pennsylvania to Enoch & Helen Kramer. She graduated from high school in Mt Carmel, Pennsylvania and graduated from the school of nursing at Bellview Medical Center, New York, with a degree as a registered nurse. She spent her career taking care of others.

In 1987 she moved with her family to Grants Pass. After retiring at age 72, she was able to spend all her time enjoying her family and taking care of her animals, which she loved dearly.

She is survived by her husband Cliff Williams of Grants Pass; son and daughter-in-law Kevin & Deanna Williams of Grants Pass; grandsons Kyle Williams of Los Cruces, New Mexico and Zack Williams and wife Linsey of Grants Pass; daughter and son-in-law Heather & Larry Hurst of Grants Pass; sister-in-law Deila Stauble of Albany, Oregon; brother-in-law Fred Williams and wife Christi Williams Coleman of Camas, Washington; sister Helene Powlan and husband Roy Powlan of Lafayette, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00 p.m., November 8, 2021 at the Williams Family residence.

Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made in Madelyn’s name to the Humane Society.
