Lynn Dean Johnson, age 93, of Grants Pass, died Friday, August 15, 2014 at Fair View Transitional Health Center.

A viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral service will begin at 12 Noon, Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army, PO Box 1065, Grants Pass, Oregon 97528.

Lynn was born September 22, 1920 in Sedan, Oklahoma to Paul & Eva Johnson. He attended schools in Sedan and community college in Oklahoma City. He served in both World War II and the Korean War. In Carnegie, Oklahoma he married Reta May Cox who preceded him in death. He was later married to Ruby McFadden who also preceded him in death. Lynn worked as company foreman for Central Air Conditioning in Los Angeles until his retirement in 1984 and in 1986 he moved to Grants Pass.

Lynn was a member of the Grants Pass Masonic Lodge AF & AM #84. He was also an original member of the Grants Pass Relics senior softball team.

His hobbies included reading and gardening.

Survivors include four children, Lane Gunn of Fallon, Nevada, Dana Meissner of Alta Loma, California, Lynn Dean Johnson Jr of Jamestown, California, and Leon S. Johnson of San Francisco, California; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Nelson Johnson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Robert Johnson of Ridgecrest, California; and longtime friend, Bertha Prewitt of Medford, Oregon.

He was preceded in death by two wives; his parents; three brothers, Paul, Kenneth and Ralph; and a sister, Lucille.
