Lucille Loretta Davis, age 95, of Murphy, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at her home.
Private mausoleum entombment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Anyone wishing to express their condolences may send them to the Davis home in Murphy.
Lucille was born July 25, 1914 in Spokane, Washington. In 1953 she married George W. Davis in Chula Vista, California. In 1961 they moved to Murphy and owned and operated the Chicken Shack until 1968. At that time they bought their home on Williams Highway in Murphy. Lucille went on to start Blue Ribbons Candy Company in her own kitchen.
Survivors include a son, Phil Davis of Murphy; a daughter, Jackie Davis of Kalispell, Montana; a granddaughter, Hailey Rose Davis of Port Townsend, Washington; a grandson, Bobby Owens & Family of San Diego, California; and numerous friends that were considered family.
