Louis "Carl" Morgan

Louis “Carl” Morgan, age 72, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at his home.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Mark Skudstad officiating. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Carl was born October 3, 1936 in Wetmore, Colorado to Lewis & Mildred Morgan. In 1951 he moved from Stockton, California to Grants Pass. On February 28, 1958 in Roseburg he married Sharron Goulter. For 23 years he served in the United States Naval Reserves. He worked at Bates Lumber Company, Braden Motor Parts, and for Josephine County Road Department as foreman. He also worked as a contractor and ran a dairy.

Carl loved his intarsia and the craft shows he attended.

Survivors include his wife, Sharron Morgan of Grants Pass; three daughters, Gina Weston and husband Dave; Brandi Morgan; Cori Stark and husband Ron; a son, Bradley Morgan and wife Glenda; five granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Dick Morgan, Bud Morgan and Lonnie Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ronald Morgan and a sister, Alicia Metcalf.
