Loretta E. Hague, age 69, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Loretta was born in San Diego, California in 1942 to Earl and Thelma Edwards. She graduated from Lincoln High School in San Diego, CA with three art scholarships. She was a member of La Mesa Art Guild. She moved to Southern Oregon with her first husband John R. Thomson, now living in Las Vegas and their two children John Christopher and Deborah Ann in 1976. She went on with her college education at Southern Oregon State University graduating with a major and degree in art. She married her current husband Robert 'Noah' Hague in 1983. She worked at Ashland Community Hospital for 25 years retiring in 2004. She was an accomplished artist in several mediums. She loved her many flowers, gardening and landscaping. She was preceded in death by sister Eunice and brother Theodore. She is survived by her husband R.W. 'Noah' Hague, her son John, Grants Pass, OR, daughter Deborah, Alaska, three grandchildren Kira, Heather and John, sisters Eloise Christopherson, Rapid City Iowa, Natalie McClure, Asheville, North Carolina and Marlene Leet, Colorado.and three step- grandsons, Robert Jr., Troy and Hugh. Loretta was a loving, caring, giving person who lived a very driven life never willing to retire totally. At the time of her passing she lived on her farm with husband Noah working in her gardens, fruit orchard and flower beds as well as tending to her chickens and household pets. Loving and doing things with her children and grandchildren was the top of her list. Too her closest friend she was also known as Rainbow, which were always a delight to her life, always stop and savoring them.
