Linda Mae Gilmore

Linda Mae Gilmore, age 66, of Cave Junction, died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at her home.

No services are planned. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Linda was born July 18, 1947 in Hollywood, California to Alfred & Sylvia Windsor. She spent her early years in Artesia, California. In 1972 she met and later married James Gilmore. In 2006 she moved from Los Angeles, California to Grants Pass and two months ago moved to Cave Junction.

Her hobbies included playing bingo at Spring Village and Seven Feathers; shopping on the Home Shopping Network; and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Tammy M. Free and a son, Robert M. Gilmore both of Cave Junction, Oregon; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Tia, Jeremy, Julia, Bryanna, Jared, and Bryson; two brothers, Robert Windsor of Cave Junction; and David Windsor of Oakland, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gilmore in 2000.
