Lesley "Lee" Lalumondier

Lesley “Lee” Lalumondier, age 86, of Grants Pass, died Friday, August 2, 2013 in Medford.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with Pastor Ken Bern officiating.

Born on November 4, 1926 in Portland, Oregon, Lee was raised by his grandparents, Della & Varice Lalumondier, and grew up in Finley, Washington, living a farm life. Later he moved to Walla Walla, Washington. In 1945 Lee married his first wife, Betty Fong of Grants Pass, Oregon. They had two children and divorced in 1971. In 1975 Lee married his wife, Pamilla in Reno, Nevada and they eventually moved to Nevada City, California. Lee was a meat salesman until he semi-retired and then he and Pamilla ran hot dog carts in Nevada City. They then spent many years traveling and enjoyed the United States in their 5thwheel. They settled in Grants Pass about 15 years ago.

Lee enjoyed traveling, fishing, all sports, watching stock car races, and was an avid baseball fan. He also loved to sing Karaoke. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles and Moose.

In addition to his wife, Pamilla of Grants Pass, Oregon; survivors include two sons, Rick (Kathy) of Nevada City, California and Blaine (Julie) of Grants Pass, Oregon; eight grandchildren, Blaine Jr of Elk Grove, California, Beau of Lincoln, California, Tina of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rick of Youngsville, North Carolina, Sheila of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Tina of Roseburg, Oregon, Tammy of Southington, Connecticut, and Misty of Nevada City, California; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy McConkie of Elk Grove, California and Joan Phenix of Yuba City, California.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Varice; and a sister, Jean.
