Leo Dana Freedman

Leo Dana Freedman, age 49, of Grants Pass, Oregon died Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Grants Pass.

A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Merlin Ward Building on Jump Off Joe Creek Road.

Leo moved to Grants Pass, met and married his childhood sweetheart, Jessica (Farmer). She was 17 years old when they married on November 9, 1996 in a quiet setting in Grants Pass. Even though their marriage didn’t work out…they were married for 23 years.

Leo loved wood working, especially making beautiful burlwood bowls; he also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.

He leaves behind four wonderful children, Stephanie Freedman, Samantha Freedman, Leo Reid Freedman and Clayton Max Freedman; his parents, Leo Max and Sunny Freedman; three sisters, Cheri Santa Maria, Christina Freedman and Kaylee Oakeson; three nieces; two nephews; and his in-laws, Philip and Jamie Boldway.

His ashes will be placed with his grandparents.

He is our Mountain Man!!!
