Larry DeWayne Williams, age 61, of Rogue River, died Monday, October 1, 2007 at his home.

A memorial mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2007 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father Gregory Moys officiating. Southern Oregon Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.

Larry was born June 20, 1946 in Escondido, California to Omer & Norma (Penson) Williams. On June 23, 1966 he married Linda C. Voehl and they later divorced. In 1977, he moved from California to Rogue River and started Larry Williams Diagnostic Center in Grants Pass. On March 4, 1988 in Grants Pass he married Floy C. Pritchett.

He was an avid supporter of the National Rifle Association. He was a past volunteer with the Rogue River and Evans Valley Fire Departments.

In addition to his family, he also loved surfing, surf music, drag racing, and his little dog, “Pepper.”

In addition to his wife, Floy C. Williams of Rogue River; he is survived by four children, Shannon M. Davis of Eugene, Charleen R. Williams of San Ramon, California, Kaylin I. Chaves of Baker, and Shelleigh R. Chavez of Bend; six grandchildren, Ashleigh Davis, Nicholas Davis, Alex Chaves, Kyana Chaves, Cody Williams and Casey Williams.
