Kurt J. Carver

Kurt J. Carver, age 50, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his home.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Kurt was born April 16, 1964 in Maryville, Missouri. He graduated from Oakridge High School in Oakridge, Oregon in 1982 where he was a star athlete playing football, basketball, golf, and baseball. He attended Linfield College in McMinnville and played on the golf team. He moved from Oakridge 17 years ago to Grants Pass and for the past 15 years worked for Core-Mark.

Kurt loved cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed competitive golf with his brothers and played golf every Saturday at Dutcher Creek Golf Course.

Survivors include two daughters, Kayla Stevens of Casa Grande, Arizona and Kristen Carver of Grants Pass, Oregon; a son, Kaden Carver of Grants Pass, Oregon; the mother of Kristen Carver & Kaden Carver, Misty Stephenson of Grants Pass, Oregon; his mother, Mary Jane Carver Abel of Yuma, Arizona; two brothers, Ken Carver II of Phoenix, Oregon and Kevin Carver of Grants Pass, Oregon; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Carver.
