Kathleen H. McManus

Kathleen H. McManus was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Earl & Margarette Sibert. Of her 4 siblings, she is survived by her sister Margarette and her brother George.

In the 1950’s Kathy married James Baty and moved to Sacramento, California where they had three children; Dorrie, Laurie and Jim. Then in 1971, the family moved to Grants, Pass, Oregon where Kathy spent the majority of the last 52 years.

Kathy, affectionately known as GG, is survived by her three children and their spouses, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Their greatest family memories included winter months in California, summer camping trips, countless card games around the family table, and chocolate birthday cakes.

Kathy is remembered by friends for her love of great food and for her many years of volunteer work with the American Legion where she served service members and her community.

“GG” will be dearly missed by all.
