Judith Rae Shipley, age 71, of Grants Pass, Oregon died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Grants Pass.

Judith was born March 19, 1939 in Reno, Nevada to Harold & Isabel (Trainor) Heller. On April 28, 1957 in Northern California she married Fredric Charles Shipley and together they raised four children in Sebastopol, California. Judith was an avid professional horsewoman and rode horses. After retiring in 1993 she moved to Oregon.

Survivors include her husband, Fredric Shipley of Grants Pass, Oregon; four children, Daniel Shipley of Grants Pass, Oregon, Lisa Phillips of Findlay, Ohio, Fredric Shipley Jr of Sweet Home, Oregon, and Todd Shipley of Santa Rosa, California; a brother; a sister; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
